Grant Bushby has been in the marketing and PR business for more than 40 years. After working for companies such as the SABC, Ster-Kinekor and M-Net, he was approached by BBC Worldwide in London to head up the PR & Marketing division of their Sales and Distribution department, where he stayed for 10 years, launching and marketing iconic shows internationally such as Walking with Dinosaurs, Teletubbies, Planet Earth, Top Gear, Doctor Who and many more. He was also responsible for the launch and marketing of BBC Prime and BBC Food channels across Europe and Africa. In 2010 Grant joined London-based Impossible Pictures as their Head of Marketing, PR and Social Media, working on series such as Primeval, Sinbad and The Last War Heroes while at the same time raising the profile of the company in an overcrowded indie production company market. During his tenure at Impossible Pictures the company rose from a position of 54th to 16th in the top 100 Independent Production companies t the UK, in part largely due to his work raising the profile in the trade and consumer press. Grant returned to South Africa in 2014 and started JAG Communications with Janine.
